Canale 7 is a local Apulian television station, which pays particular attention to the city of Monopoli, in the province of Bari. The strong point of the broadcaster is the information that is edited by four editorial offices; Gianni Tanzariello and Agostino Calefati are respectively publisher and administrator as well as director of the Apulian broadcaster. The station serves the Puglia region on channel 78, has as its strong point the information and the production of entertainment programs. For editorial choice are not transmitted teleshopping and movies. The station was founded in January 1988, but stabilizes in the Apulian information market in the late '90s. In the second half of 2000, the station creates its website Canale 7.tv and then, among the first contents published, the series of episodes of In cucina con Cristina (In the kitchen with Cristina) directed by Francesco Pilagatti; program then broadcasted in the current time slot of information dedicated to Tg7. The latter is edited directly by two journalistic editorial staffs of Canale 7, which take care of services, filming, direction, editing, recording, audio/video and graphics always trying to offer quality.
